Business Development and Event Planning Freelancer Needed for Seminar/Workshop Company Serving Women Over 40.

Contract position, freelance, part-time.   Investor-backed start-up seeks mature individual with 20+ years’ working experience.

Develop and qualify a list of prospects, cold-call, and set up sales meetings for company principals.  Must demonstrate aptitude for B-to-B sales and coordination of motivational speaking engagements, educational seminars/workshops, signature conferences, and other consulting services and products serving women.

Experience with event planning or fund-raising in universities, associations, and nonprofits preferred.  Experience setting up event sponsorships and/or event planning in the financial services industry – banking, investment advising, insurance— a plus.

Must be skilled in Internet search and Microsoft Office.  Impeccable phone manner and writing skills are crucial. Show interest in our mission to provide consulting services to women over 40.
